Coffee Kiss comes out of a passion and devotion for coffee that has been in my family for two generations. As a skilled and passionate coffee connoisseur, coffee has become a favorite in my life and a part of my heart as a skilled and passionate coffee connoisseur. For over 20 years I have been professionally sipping coffees from around the world. My dad started out as an owner of a catering business and met many coffee suppliers over the years. These suppliers brought him some of the most palate-pleasing coffees from around the world. Out of his enjoyment of coffee he started up his own coffee distribution business in the 1960’s located in Detroit Michigan.
I can still remember dad teaching me to provide customers with the best and freshest coffees. When I look back in my childhood, my first sip of coffee was from my mother’s coffee cup. It was in the family living room where I held the cup steady between both hands and sipped the wonderful taste of coffee that was bathed in sugar and cream. On the other hand, My dad’s coffee was too hot to drink. He always had to have his coffee black and piping hot! He didn’t like to share.
As time went on, coffee became a part of my life. In college I had put several years in the family business and was becoming “hard core” in coffee. So with and my dad’s influences from the coffee business and a few years after college, the coffee beans called to me and I started working at the family coffee business. As specialty coffee became a hit in the 90’s I received additional training and changed my coffee to drinking to a straight black cup of coffee with no embellishments. This switch allowed me to assess the quality of a cup of coffee more distinctively upon my pallet. I noticed it was at this point that I developed a deeper, more passionate connection with coffee.
Now more than 20 years later, I take my coffee seriously and my desire to share it is extended with Coffee Kiss. The blends I offer are of the top favorite coffees loved by America. To me, in the name Coffee Kiss Company, the “Kiss” illustrates what happens with our lips as we pull them close to that delicious steamy cup of java. Nothing is better than delicious coffee that has touched your lips.
