Choosing A Coffee

Choosing a coffee is an excellent adventure and just takes time and drinking coffee different ways to know what you want.   Just as choosing any beverage, there are some basic things to know that will help you define your taste.
First, know that you have a preferred taste. You have to move into the coffee with the simple goal of finding a coffee that fits you.   There is no wrong answer.   So let us begin by some simple things to know about coffee that effect coffee taste.
 

1. Origin Coffee: Comes from one specific country and region. The growing place of coffee reflects its taste to a certain degree. Coffee is grown in well over 50 growing countries. Since coffee is a plant, the soil conditions, altitude at which they are grown are some ingredients, but the region itself attributes a distinctive taste to its flavor. 
2. Coffee Blends: Are origin beans mixed and are blended for their inherent qualities to achieve a certain taste by the roast master. Blends are good too because origin coffee quality can vary depending on the seasons conditions and how the coffee is cared for by the farmers, therefore  blends are more consistent in taste and are a favorite choice for many.
3. Roast Color: Coffee Kiss Company has its coffee roasted and sold in five basic roasts.
    
• Light Roast or House Blend, mild smooth and mellow.
• Medium Roast or Full City is blend more darker and full of flavor.
• Vienna Roast, medium dark roast that is full bodied with a dark overtone.
• Dark Roast or French Roast is a blend which is deep, rich and full bodied.
• Flavored Coffee, mostly light to medium roast flavored during roasting.
4. Whole Bean or Ground: Grinding your own whole coffee beans is generally approved as the superior coffee method for the freshest brew.   Follow your grinding instructions on your grinder or look in our coffee tips section for help.   Ground coffee is done for most coffee makers is a industry standard drip grind for the practical at heart who don’t want to grind. Coffee brewing instructions are listed on the back of your coffee Kiss Company package. It is very fresh either way, less sent to you a week from being roasted so don’t worry, its all good brewed!
