	Coffee Kiss French Roast is a blend of Arabica coffee roasted to dark perfection to best accentuate the roast profiles of the coffee. The end result is a robust, full-bodied, tangy taste with a hint of smoke, low in acidity, yet high in spicy bittersweet flavor.


		Coffee Background

	The truth is, French Roast is not made in France, but is simply a term for dark roast color. French Roast is bold and hardy -- a great daily cup of coffee. It is also appreciated as a dessert coffee after meals. The term” French Roast” may have originated in the city of New Orleans where cooks (or would- be roasters) would use frying pans to roast black coffee. Another story is that the French were importing their coffee from Africa and had to remedy some quality issues by roasting a poor grade of coffee longer to hide any undesirable characteristics.
